Five ways to wire DeepL into your writing workflow

From layout-preserving document translation to glossary-driven review, ranked by effort versus payoff.

Full-document translation (lowest effort)

Upload the .docx or .pptx directly and the layout mostly survives. Good enough for a first pass on quotes and spec sheets.

Glossaries (the consistency fix)

Lock product names and proper nouns into a glossary so one document does not ship with three different spellings of the same term.

Browser extension (reading foreign material)

Select to translate. Best for competitor docs and forum threads.

API plus scripts (batch work)

When you have hundreds of structured strings, the API is far more reliable than pasting by hand.

Post-editing (not optional)

Machine translation carries you about 80% of the way. Tone and compliance still need a human pass.
