If you are buying exactly one tool for a team, Notion remains the safest answer. Its strength is not depth in any single feature but that everything grows on the same tree: the requirements doc sits next to the task board, and the board next to the meeting notes. The cost of that freedom is that a team without conventions will have an information landfill three months in.

Three years in, now running a 40-person team on it. Database views are the real win — one table, many views, no more exports. Set naming conventions before inviting people.
Pages get noticeably slow once you have a lot of them, especially synced databases. Otherwise solid, and permission inheritance beats Confluence.
Offline is basically unusable — could not edit a page on a flight. Collaboration is fine, but think twice before making it your only knowledge base.
